Professors Mari Velonaki of the National Facility for Human-Robot Research (UNSW Art & Design), along with A/Prof David Rye (University of Sydney), and Dr. Teresa Crea (UNSW), have obtained funding from the Defence, Science and Technology Human Performance Research Network (HRPnet). This research will be carried out under the title of
Predicting and improving team performance by incorporating an autonomous advisory system.
“The project will create and demonstrate an adaptable and expandable operational model of a distributed real-time system able to identify individual and group signifiers of cognitive and physical stress under critical conditions, and rapidly distribute this information to assist in task allocation in order to improve team performance.” – Chantal Russell, UNSW Art & Design.
Congratulations to Mari, David and Teresa!
